Natura 2000 - Ecological data on objects of protection

Description

Council Directive 92/43/EEC on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora (Article 4.1) and Directive 2009/147/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the conservation of wild birds (Article 4.3) require EU Member States to submit information on the Natura 2000 network on their territory to the European Commission using the SDF format (defined by Commission Decision 2011/484/EU). The Standard Data Form (SDF) contains, among other things, basic data on the site (localisation, publication regulations), the subjects of protection (population, area and quality of the habitat), protection and the effects on the site. The SDF for the Czech Republic is prepared by the Agency for Nature Conservation and Landscape Protection of the Czech Republic. The ecological information contained in this dataset is information on the population of species and the size and quality of habitats, subject matter. Since 2020, these data have been updated - for habitats in connection with the update of habitat mapping and for species based on data from the Nature Conservation Finding Database for the 6-year period (currently 2013-2018). © AOPK ČR
