Description
Business data for commercial fisheries at sea collected within DCF/EU-MAP. Data include, for example, landed weight and value, value added, gross profit, net result number of working, etc. Due to confidentiality, it is aggregated up at segment level based on the use of gear (Passiva or Active) as well as the length of the vessel/signal as well as the target species. The target species is defined as the species from which they have the majority of their fished value. If you do not have a specific target species, you end up in category N/A, i.e. mixed fisheries.
