Richness of forest stand structure
Description
On the territory of the Czech Republic, the occurrence of stands with a simple structure is significantly prevalent. Vegetation with a rich structure is found mainly in natural forest ecosystems and stands with selective management, the occurrence of which in our territory is very sparse. To a greater extent, there are stands in our country that, due to their spatial and age structure, are only close to stands with a rich structure, especially in the restoration phase, or they are spontaneously formed on previously non-forest land (succession).
