Vehicle traffic intensity

Description

Pentlograms of traffic intensity are regularly processed by Brněnské komunikace, a.s. (hereinafter abbreviated as BKOM). The outputs of pentlograms are diagrams of nodes and sections between them. These data have been processed in gis form (SHP) above the street graph since 2016 and are supplemented with the release of a new pentlogram. Pentlograms monitor the intensity of motor vehicles and cyclists. The intensity of motor vehicles is processed annually (processed 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021). Intensities are visualized by the width of individual sections and a description of a numerical value that defines the number of motor vehicles (thousands) per 24h / percentage of trucks and buses. This set is displayed in the internal map applications Traffic Map, BKOM Map and Cycling Measures (internal and public). More detailed information can be found in the documentation. The data is in the GCS WGS84 coordinate system.
