Greenery registry - green surfaces

Description

The data set contains comprehensive information about the state and management of greenery in the city of Brno (including inventory) and is processed and displayed in the Pasport Green application. It can be divided into 2 parts – base areas of greenery and biological, technical elements and accessories. The basic areas of greenery are complete parts of the territory (e.g. park, primary school area, part of the housing estate, etc.) on which biological elements, technical elements and accessories are located. They are rather registration areas and are particularly important for city districts that do not have a green passport (at the level of biological and technical elements). They are different from the Significant areas of greenery and functional areas of greenery, which are part of the Urban Greenery application. The data set contains biological elements (e.g. lawn, tree row), technical elements (e.g. paths, sandboxes) and accessories (e.g. curbs). These are more detailed data, which are always tied to a given basic area of greenery. The data also include dendrology - quantitative and qualitative information about the biological element (taxon, dimensions, health status, etc.). The data also includes road greenery. The administrator of road greenery is BKOM and individual districts are in charge of the maintenance of these areas. Always at 30. 9. the data from BKOM are updated in the map project CA and the MČ will incorporate these changes into their data. The data set also contains a working layer of surfaces, which according to Pasport data are green duplicated in the administration of both OSM and individual districts. These data are up-to-date as of April 2023. Data management and spatial delimitation is the responsibility of individual administrators of greenery on the territory of the city (city district authorities, Public Greenery of the City of Brno, Cemetery Administration of the City of Brno, Brno Communications) and therefore differs in the scope of mapped elements, accuracy, level of detail and method of updating. On the basis of these data, funds are allocated from the budget of the City of Brno. More detailed information can be found in the documentation. The data is in the GCS WGS84 coordinate system.
