Norkog

Description

The Norwegian register for persons assessed for cognitive symptoms in the specialist health service (NorKog) is the national quality register for the assessment of cognitive symptoms and/or dementia. NorKog collects data using a standard survey with interviews and cognitive testing of the patient. Information is also collected from relatives or others who know the patient well about the development of cognitive difficulties and how everyday life works. Geriatric, age-psychiatric and memory clinics include NorKog patients. NorKog is a service register, which was established in 2008 and received status as a national quality register in 2013.
