Description
According to the requirements of Directive (EU) 2019/1024 of the European Parliament and of the Council, data from individual meteorological radars operated by the CHMI and combined radar information in the universal HDF5 format with metadata stored according to the ODIM HDF5 (EUMETNET OPERA Data Information Model) specification are provided. Primary measured 3D volume data (3D data localized in spherical coordinates distance, azimuth, elevation) of the following quantities are provided from individual radars (radar Brdy-Praha and radar Skalky): corrected radar reflectivity, uncorrected radar reflectivity, radial velocity, radial velocity spectrum width, differential radar reflectivity, correlation coefficient and PHIDP differential phase. Georeferenced 2D grid arrays of the following radar products are provided for the whole territory of the Czech Republic and its surroundings: maximum radar reflectance, constant altitude reflectance of 2km (product operationally used for estimating precipitation intensity on the Earth's surface), combined 1h precipitation estimates from radars and MERGE rain gauges and radar echo height of 4dBZ Echo_Top.
