Meteorological data measured in the network of CHMI stations for the period 1961-2023, sunshine
Description
In accordance with Act No. 123/1998 Coll. on the right to information on the environment, the CHMI made available the daily, monthly and annual climatological characteristics of basic meteorological elements measured at stations administered by the CHMI for the period 1961-2023. The daily total of the duration of sunshine is the time interval between sunrise and sunset during which the solar disc is not obscured by clouds or other obstacles. Physically, it is defined as the time when the intensity of the direct solar radiation flux is greater than 120 W/m2. It is given in hours.
