Meteorological data measured in the network of CHMI stations for the period 1961-2023, air temperature
Description
In accordance with Act No. 123/1998 Coll. on the right to information on the environment, the CHMI made available the daily, monthly and annual climatological characteristics of basic meteorological elements measured at stations administered by the CHMI for the period 1961-2023. The average daily air temperature is calculated as the average of the temperatures in the climatic terms 7, 14 and 21 h of the local mean solar time, with the evening term being calculated twice. The maximum daily air temperature is the maximum air temperature reached between 21:00 local mean solar time of the previous day and 21:00 local mean solar time of the current day. The minimum daily air temperature is the minimum air temperature that has been reached between 21:00 local mean solar time of the previous day and 21:00 local mean solar time of the current day. The characteristics of the air temperature are given in °C.
