INSPIRE - Sub-units of river basin districts in Wallonia (BE)

Description

This layer represents the sub-units of the river basin districts considered by Article 3 of the Water Framework Directive in Wallonia (WFD SubUnit). For a river basin district exceeding 50000 km2, the WFD requires the reporting of the Sub-Unit data which delimits watersheds between 5000 and 50000 km2. Wallonia is not affected by watersheds of more than 50000 km2 but the European report then asks to report the same data as that of the river basin district for technical issues of data process and verification.
