INSPIRE - Altitude of the water bottom of hydraulic tracks in Wallonia (BE)

Description

High-resolution topography of the bottom of hydraulic tracks and reservoir dams in the Walloon Region in accordance with INSPIRE specifications. This raster data layer presents the results from the bathymetry of the waterways navigated in the Walloon Region as well as the lakes of the reservoir dams. This method makes it possible to know the depth of the different rivers surveyed. The pixel value is the altitude expressed in mDNG . The resolution is 50cm and the accuracy is less than 10cm in all 3 directions. This is a composite image obtained by integrating different surveys carried out over a period of approximately 4 years. Particular attention needs to be paid to the fact that the topography of waterways is constantly changing. The bathymetric data is therefore the picture of the situation at the time of the survey itself. Consequently, this data is only disseminated for information purposes and can only be interpreted as it stands in any use under the sole responsibility of the user.
