Waterways - LiDAR Points Cloud
Description
This data layer corresponds to the Lidar point cloud (XYZ) of the banks of the sailed and/or hydraulic tracks.
It is a remote sensing by laser on board ship, taking up the banks and structures around waterways and reservoir dams in Wallonia.
The altitude is expressed in mDNG.
Density of points every 50cm and accuracy less than 10cm in the 3 directions.
This layer is produced by the Directorate of Hydrological Management (SPW Mobility Infrastructures) as part of works inspections (including reservoir dams). It does not therefore concern the entire Walloon hydrographic network.
This is a composite image obtained by integrating different surveys carried out over a period of about 4 years.
