Energy usage in municipal buildings

Description

The data sets in this directory are coordinated based on wedge data from the municipalities. There are four types of data that belong together. — Location: Describes a location (usually a building) for which there is energy data. — MeasurementPoint:Describes a measuring point with a unique id, what the measuring point is and the unit in which it is measured. — LocationMeasurementPoint: Connects a measuring point to a location and gives a local name for the measuring point. Some measuring points are used by many locations, e.g. temperature meters from official measurement stations from the Meteorological Institute (met.no) — Measurements: Time stamped measurements from measurement point Description of each of the datasets with their fields follows below. ## Location | Field Name | Description | | | | | | | | | | | location | Name of the location, e.g. name of school or kindergarten | | municipality_code | Municipal code for the location. The codes are defined in the data set [Standard for municipal division](https://www.ssb.no/klass/klassifikasjoner/131/koder) at Statistics Norway. I'M SORRY. | location_type | Type of location. Legal values: Building, Rooms, Other | | building_type | Type of building. Legal values: School, Kindergarten, Health buildings, Administrative buildings, Sports buildings, Church buildings, Emergency response buildings, Urban and leisure buildings, cultural buildings, Varmesentral, Other building | | address | Address to the location/building | | latitude | Latitude of the location in decimal degrees | | longitude | Length of location in decimal degrees | ## MeasurementPoint | Field Name | Description | | | | | | | | | | | meter_id | Unique id for the measuring point. Examples: EID_972418013_00290, Eclimate_82290_TAM | | meter_type | Describes what type of measuring point it is. Examples are fixed power, Temperature, degree days, Heat pump | | unit | Unit measuring device, e.g. kWh, °C | | meter_level | Usually one of the following two values: Consumable meter, Other meter | ## LocationMeasurementPoint | Field Name | Description | | | | | | | | | | | location | Location name (see Location) | | municipality_code | Municipal code for the location | | meter_id | Unique id for the measurement point (see MeasurementPoint) | | meter_name | Local name for the measuring point (uniquely only within the location). Examples: Temp agent, fixed force, fixed force 67756 | ## Measurements | Field Name | Description | | | | | | | | | | | timestamp | Time stamp with date and time, e.g. 2010-01-04 06:00:00 | | meter_id | Unique id for measurement point (see MeasurementPoint) | | value | Measurement reading. Usually moving numbers with commas as separator, e.g. 4.20 |
