The attention to emergencies in Castilla y León is organized from the concept of System of Integral Attention of Emergencies and Emergencies, understanding this as the set of different services that act in the face of emergencies and emergencies to give a coordinated and adequate response according to the needs and existing resources. It is a comprehensive and integrated system of care, which allows to organize and manage assistance to emergencies and emergencies, both in the extra-hospital environment (Primary Care and Emergency Services outside the hospital), and in the hospital by carrying out a set of complex and orderly sequential activities in order to optimize assistance to patients. This Comprehensive Emergency Care System of Castilla y León is based on 3 devices that are basic and essential pillars of it: hospital emergencies, primary care devices and health emergencies. This data set aims to show the map of resources (professionals and healthcare resources) and ratio of resources per inhabitant (1) of health emergencies per year. Notes: (1) INE population (1/01/2019): 2,399,548 inhabitants in Castile and León. (2) The HEMS is not assigned a specific area of attention despite the fact that the Air Base is in a certain location. The ratio has been calculated on the total population of Castile and Leon.
