Sickness in residences due to coronavirus
Description
Data from 1,214 centres. It includes residences, centres for the disabled and sheltered housing.
Weekly update (Tuesday and Friday).
The mortality data in residences corresponds to the totality of deaths in residences, for any cause. In the case of the deceased are residents who have died in hospital or in residence.
In some cases the mortality data in residences may be higher than that of people who died with confirmed COVID19 or with compatible symptoms. The reason lies in the different sources from which the data come and the time, also different, in which they are collected.
In the case of those confirmed, these are residents who have undergone the PCR test (molecular detection test) with a positive result as established in the Order of the Ministry of Health SND/265/2020, of 19 March.
In the case of isolates, it has been distinguished into two groups as established in the Order of the Ministry of Health SND/265/2020, of 19 March.
