Area by crop and province - single application

Description

The single application contains a number of information relating to agricultural holdings, including areas and the crop introduced, and is therefore a powerful tool for decision-making in agricultural policy. Although some circumstances should be noted, although we are currently in a system of aid decoupled from production except for one-off aids, this has not always been the case, the 1992 CAP reform motivated by the decrease in guaranteed prices due to high storage volumes was aimed at large continental crops, for this reason certain productions such as horticultural or woody crops have remained outside the aid system. Therefore, products such as vineyards, fruit trees or horticulture appear with a smaller area than the real one. The SAC (Comarcal Agricultural Section) of presentation is based on the location of the area, so that within applications submitted in another autonomous community can include areas of Castilla y León that logically have not been computed; in the same way, areas of other Autonomous Communities are included in applications submitted in Castilla y León.
