Description
Cartography of the Special Protection Areas for Birds (SPAs) of Castilla y León, where habitats and species of fauna (not birds) and flora of community interest are housed.Declared Special Areas of Conservation (SACs) by Decree 57/2015, of 10 September. Together with the SCIs, they constitute the Natura 2000 Network, integrated into the Network of Natural Protected Areas (RANP) of Castilla y León.It consists of 70 SPAs, with an area close to two million hectares, which represent just over 21% of the regional territory.
