Files subject to regular strategic environmental assessment

Description

Strategic environmental assessment is a parallel and complementary procedure to the substantive procedures for the approval or adoption of a plan or programme, and the phases corresponding to the substantive and environmental procedures can be carried out simultaneously. The Ordinary Strategic Environmental Assessment (EAEO), regulated in articles 17 to 28 of Law 21/2013, of December 9, on environmental assessment. The strategic environmental statement is the mandatory and determining report of the environmental body with which the ordinary strategic environmental assessment ends and which pronounces on the integration of environmental aspects in the final proposal of the plan or program. The strategic environmental statement shall be published in the Official State Gazette or corresponding official journal without prejudice to its publication on the website of the environmental body.
