Valencian municipalities at risk of depopulation

Description

Dataset made from the data obtained in the [Agenda Valenciana Antipopulation](https://avant.gva.es/es/avant) (Agenda AVANT). This Agenda belongs to the Generalitat Valenciana and is part of its policy of combating depopulation throughout Valencian territory. The municipalities at risk of depopulation amount to a total of 178, and belong to the three provinces of Valencia. Population data have been obtained from the National Institute of Statistics (INE). The AVANT Agenda has as its main objective to seek territorial balance and work together with the different local administrations, joint communities, councils and councils, not only to curb depopulation, but also to reverse the marked differences that we find in municipalities with less population, improve the quality of life and well-being of its inhabitants, guarantee basic services and develop a sustainable growth of the economy and occupation in the territory. Likewise, the AVANT Agenda articulates and implements all the necessary elements and possible formulas to make all those people who want to live and make the people their means of life, do so with dignity and quality of life.
