Catalogue of authorities. Gender/form

Description

These authority records establish in a standardised way the heading that is used in bibliographic records as access points, associated with a gender or a form and in accordance with the regulations of the specific IFLA Working Groups. The terms of gender/form serve to describe what a publication is like, but not in relation to its thematic content, but by being framed in a genre (literary, artistic...) or by formal characteristics or physical peculiarities that distinguish the different types of document.
