Study of Satisfaction with the Service of Child Care Centers (CAI)

Description

The Child Care Centres (CAIs) are the specialised social care services of the municipal child protection network in the city of Madrid. They contribute to the detection of situations of serious risk of lack of protection and alleged helplessness of minors residing in the municipality and offer support services and specialized care to them and their families. They provide interdisciplinary psychological, social and educational care. They offer their services to people under 18 years of age at serious risk of lack of protection and alleged helplessness and their families. The services provided are set out in the IAC Service Charter , adopted on 5 September 2013: Initial assessment of risk situations in minors. Assessment of the family situation and, where appropriate, of the lack of protection of children and adolescents. Specialized family treatment. Accompaniment and supervision to families who are not in treatment. Support and follow-up for children and adolescents and their caregivers. Technical advice to professionals and resources working with children and adolescents. Prevention of child abuse. Family follow-up after the end of care.
