Description

Municipal residences for the elderly with Alzheimer's-type cognitive impairment or other dementias (Municipal Residence for the Elderly Margarita Retuerto and Municipal Residence for the Elderly Jazmin) are defined as equipment intended for accommodation and specialized care for those people who need continuous assistance in carrying out the activities of daily life, and who, due to their family, economic and social situation, as well as their own limitations of personal autonomy, cannot be cared for in their own homes, and who for various circumstances do not have access to a place in the public network of residences of the Community of Madrid. To access this residence it is necessary to suffer from Alzheimer's disease or other dementia and present a situation that makes it advisable to attend a specialized center. This set of data includes the waiting list for access to the municipal residence for elderly people with cognitive impairment, whose order of priority is determined by the score obtained by application of the scale. This waiting list can be altered by the inclusion of new cases or the existence of urgent cases and / or dependency.
