Urban Flora of Madrid

Description

Map service that shows in its first visualization the quantitative information of the records of species distributed in the districts of Madrid from the year 1758 to 2020. In more detailed scales, the UTM grid of 1km.x 1Km identifies the records of species located as a result of the botanical inventory work carried out between 2016 and 2020. The data that appear in this cartographic project have been collected, analyzed or produced during the year 2020 in the development of the project Catalogue of Vascular Flora of the City of Madrid and Urban Microreserves of Flora commissioned by the City of Madrid and elaborated by the Research Group “Biogeography and Conservation of Flora and Vegetation” the Department of Biodiversity, Ecology and Evolution of the Faculty of Biology of the Complutense University of Madrid.
