Home Laundry Service User Satisfaction Study

Description

Satisfaction survey of users of the Home Laundry Service. The purpose of this survey is to know the quality perceived by users about the Home Laundry service, as well as to receive their suggestions in order to establish an improvement plan. The Home Laundry Service is a service through which, through prepared personnel, it is collected, washed, dried, ironed and delivered to the homes of the users, their personal and household clothes, with a certain periodicity. This service, which is proposed as a preventive municipal resource, is aimed at supporting, in the tasks of cleaning clothes for personal use and the home to all those people who, given their special situation and according to the determined profile, need it, thus contributing to improve their quality of life. It is addressed to: A) People over 65 years old, registered in the municipality of Madrid, who live alone or live with people of similar or greater dependence, with little or no family support, and who lack in their home, the adequate means to perform the tasks of washing, drying and ironing clothes, or have limitations on the performance of these tasks, as well as those who live with children or other relatives, as support for caregivers with overload. B) Persons under 65 years of age in a situation of social risk or social exclusion or with a situation of dependence such that it entails the need for the service. It should be noted that, apart from the ordinary washing of personal clothes and the complementary annual washing of household clothes of the user, the service performs, as an extraordinary benefit, the treatment of clothes with vector infestations in those homes in which this circumstance occurs, being necessary a specific procedure in the handling and washing of clothes. The survey explores aspects of the service related to its notoriety, impact, organization and delivery, team of professionals or global assessment, as well as some instruments for prioritizing improvements.
