Support Product Service Satisfaction Study

Description

Satisfaction survey of users of the support products service. The purpose of this survey is to know the quality perceived by users about the Support Products service, as well as to receive their suggestions, in order to establish an improvement plan. The Support Products service is offered to the citizens of Madrid within the framework of the Madrid City Council's Care for the Elderly program. Provides support products to ensure the permanence of the user in the home for as long as possible and in the appropriate security conditions, favoring their care, mobility and transfers; thus improving their quality of life and that of their carers. The benefit is aimed at people over 65, registered in the municipality of Madrid, who have a degree of functional limitation (serious / total), which forces them to stay bedridden for prolonged periods or permanently. The service provides the following types of products: Articulated beds: are offered to persons who must remain bedridden, facilitating personal hygiene, food intake and postural changes and reducing the possibility of dermal lesions. Geriatric Cranes: encourage the mobilisation and transfer of persons with reduced mobility. In addition, the service offers the maintenance and repair of the breakdowns of the Support Products, as well as the assessment of the level of dependence of the user (prior to installation), training on the handling and use of the products, and an annual home visit for the monitoring of both the user and the condition of the products. Support products are intended as a temporary benefit for the person making the application. These products must be returned to the City Council of Madrid when the situation of need that originated the demand disappears. The survey explores aspects of the service related to its notoriety, impact, organization and delivery, team of professionals or global assessment, as well as some instruments for prioritizing improvements.
