Description

Satisfaction survey of participants in the Caring for Those Who Care program. The purpose of this survey is to know the degree of satisfaction of the users of the program. It is a multimodal, psychotherapeutic, educational and self-help program, aimed at primary caregivers of older people, as well as elderly caregivers of dependent people (whatever their age and the type of functional or / and mental dependence, who live at home or in the home of those who care for them). The purpose of this program is to improve the consequences of the impact of care on the quality of life of caregivers, and indirectly of the dependent people they serve. The program is developed throughout the year and in the 21 municipal districts and carries out selective and indicated prevention activities, through group sessions of different content (psychotherapeutic, mixed or socializing and educational), home visits and telephone calls. It is designed to serve caregivers with moderate or severe overload in psychotherapeutic and mixed or socializing sessions led by psychologists. The educational, anti-stress and accompaniment sessions are intended to provide tools in care, foster optimism and empowerment, as well as to give continuity to the program by creating self-managed self-help groups. These sessions will be led by different professionals depending on the content of the sessions. The home visits allow to know in situ the situation of the caregivers, in order to improve the adaptation of the program. Telephone intervention is carried out for recruitment, follow-up and intervention related to group activities. The survey explores aspects of the service related to its notoriety, impact, organization and delivery, team of professionals or global assessment, as well as some instruments for prioritizing improvements.
