Satisfaction study of participants in the Socio-Educational and Pre-Work Support Program for Adolescents (ASPA)

Description

The Socio-Educational and Pre-Work Support for Adolescents (ASPA) programme is a service of the Madrid City Council aimed at adolescents and young people, offering advice on training and employment resources; support and guidance in family difficulties, situations of harassment or violence and, in the case of being a father or mother, on the upbringing and education of the children. For this, and in addition, you can enjoy leisure activities. This resource is aimed at adolescents and young people at risk or in a situation of social conflict, from 12 to 21 years old, residing in the municipality of Madrid. Exceptionally, boys and girls up to the age of 23 can access the program. The program develops various actions that strengthen their abilities and prepare them for an adult and independent life. The services offered are as follows: Support service for curriculum development, preparation of interviews and accompaniment in the active search for employment. Advice on training and vocational training courses and workshops. Conflict orientation with family or friends. Help victims of some kind of violence or harassment. Parenting guidelines and spaces to share experiences with young mothers and fathers. These actions are carried out through individual, group, family and community attention, both in the places of their daily life (family home, educational centers, leisure, cultural or sports facilities to which they go), and in each of the seven reference centers with which the program has. Activities are held from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays according to planned activities. Access to the program is through the Social Services Center that corresponds by address. It can also be accessed directly through the ASPA Center assigned to the district.
