Vulnerability Ranking of Madrid Districts and Neighborhoods

Description

For the period 2017-2019, the Madrid City Council prepared annually the vulnerability ranking of districts and neighborhoods as a basis for the design of its public policies and fight against the risks of exclusion and the appearance of especially vulnerable areas. Territorial Vulnerability Index of the districts and neighborhoods of Madrid (IVR). From 2020 the City Council has developed the Iguala system, Aggregate Territorial Vulnerability Index (IVTA) which is a social innovation project that aims to solve the territorial imbalance of the city of Madrid, taking into account also the socioeconomic situation of the population new dimensions such as citizen security, the environment, urban mobility, education, culture, cleaning services or health. This data set collects the data of the IVR and annual vulnerability ranking of districts and neighborhoods of the city of Madrid for 2017, 2018 and 2019, although it must be taken into account that the year indicated in the files is not the reference of the data but the one of elaboration of the same (a later year). For example: when 2020 is indicated in the file, the data are from 2019. In the section 'Associated documentation' a file with the information of the model of elaboration, calculation and data sources of this index is offered.
