Fixed public toilets with advertising

Description

As a way of meeting the needs of public services on public roads, guaranteeing their correct conservation and maintenance, their adequate conditions for demanding use and their access and use by all people, regardless of their physical, functional or intellectual capacities, the City Council has promoted its implementation in the elements of urban furniture with advertising exploitation, without cost in any budget item of the City Council. These toilets are installed on public roads to provide the service on a permanent basis, therefore, they should not be confused with the detachable toilets that are installed with reasons of district parties, markets, large events in the city, etc. The contract called & Management of the Public Service, modality of concession of municipal urban furniture information and other services & it includes, among other elements, the manufacture, installation and maintenance of public toilets with advertising exploitation that are being installed in Madrid. The concessionary company is Clear Channel S.L.U. Public toilets respond to universal design criteria, that is, they are suitable for all users, whether or not they have any disability of any kind. Toilets are resistant to vandalism. Access is timed with automatic door opening. These elements are equipped with self-cleaning toilet and sink, secamana, soap dispenser and toilet paper, folding baby changing table, anti-vender mirror, odorless trash bin, forced ventilation by silent extractor and rack. It also has interior lighting and glazed hollow to the outside for its natural lighting. Its internal cleaning is carried out by means of a system of self-washing and drying of the floor automatically activated after each use. The financing of these public toilets and the cost of their maintenance, is carried out through the advertising exploitation of them, and their location is carried out under strict control in the areas of accessibility, urban landscape and occupation of the public road.
