30th Street traffic. Works planned in real time
Description
For the correct maintenance of the road, a multitude of works must be carried out, sometimes involving road cuts for the safety of workers and road users. All these works must be planned together with the General Directorate of Traffic Management and Surveillance to avoid that all levels are informed of these alterations. Depending on the work to be done and the equipment on which the type of cut to be made on the road is acted on will vary. For example, to be able to work in a camera of the Closed Circuit of Television that is anchored to the roof of the tunnel it is necessary, at least, to make a cut of the lane on which the camera is, on the other hand, if a section of the road is going to be resurfaced, the cut to be made will be a section closure. The usual thing is that the vast majority of cuts are made in the hours in which they affect traffic to the least extent, which is usually at night, but sometimes this is not possible because the work must be done with light or if it is due to an emergency repair that affects the safety of users, so it will be done as soon as possible. The refresh rate is every 5 minutes.
