Description
The EIDOS database incorporates official information on wild species present in Spain (marine and terrestrial).
The information contained in this database comes from several biodiversity projects carried out by the Ministry: national Atlas, Red Books, Catalogues, Inventories and Community Reports.
It has been structured following the Plinian Core standard, an international standard to describe different aspects of biological species information.
