Greenhouse gas emissions from municipalities
Description
Greenhouse gas emissions at municipal level, by source and by sector. Emission factors apply to energy consumption. The emission factors are those determined by the methodology of the Covenant of Mayors for the Environment established by the Office of the Covenant of Mayors (Como). Waste is established by the Catalan Office of Climate Change of the Generalitat of Catalonia. The electricity emission factor is calculated for each municipality according to Como’s methodology and from the CNMC emission factor (it publishes annually in electricity labelling reports).
