Description
Citizens can and should expect the CNMC’s decision-making process to be as transparent as possible. The greater openness, the easier it is to ensure balanced action and avoid abusive pressures and illegitimate or privileged access to both information and decision-makers.
The CNMC is clear that only by showing everything it does, and once the limitations that must be safeguarded by law have been respected, it will deserve the legitimacy it seeks and, more importantly, the trust of society in this institution. Transparency is therefore a key element in promoting the active participation of citizens in the defence of competition and efficient economic regulation.
This page shows the meetings that the members of the CNMC Board, and the Directors, have with companies, associations or any other type of entity.
The CNMC launched the Register of Interest Groups to offer in an absolutely transparent way this relationship, which is considered legitimate.
