2805|THE FLOATING VOTE: TEMPORARY ANALYSIS FROM A QUALITATIVE APPROACH (FIRST WAVE)
Description
FIRST WAVE
Overall objective of the study is to determine from a temporal perspective the underlying keys
on which the voting behaviour of the floating voter is built.
The specific objectives are listed below:
- To know the opinion of the target public on the current socio-economic and socio-political situation of the country and, to the extent that it differs, also of its autonomous community: assessment of both situations; associated causes; expectations of the future and degree of confidence.
- Analyze the elements that underlie this structure of opinion.
- Determine the subjective level of quality of life and the degree of satisfaction with the current situation of the floating voter.
Detect the topics of interest and concern of the floating voter, their assessment and the criteria on which these opinions are based.
- Obtain an assessment of the Government's performance and the image of the President, trying to determine the degree of responsibility attributed to them for the current situation.
- To assess the performance of the opposition and its leader.
- Briefly analyze the current image of the main political parties and their leaders.
- Study the electoral behavior of the floater: what factors determine your decision.
- Invite the floating voter to show his preferences in the face of hypothetical elections at the present time and the justification for his decision.
