- Confidence of the interviewee in the people, and in Parliament, business, the Church, Justice and Education.
- Different places of residence. Population scope of residence of the interviewee.
- Agreement with phrases about the Church: whether it should influence the decision to vote and the decisions of the government.
- Agreement with phrases about science: if it creates more problems than solutions and if we rely too much on it and not enough on religious faith, if they are a source of conflict and if believers are intolerant
- Perception of the power of the Church in Spain.

- Definition of the spirituality and/or religiosity of the interviewee.
- Possession of relics or religious images in the home.
- Attendance at religious worship centers for religious reasons.

- marital status or cohabitation with a partner of the interviewee.
- Characterisation of the employment status of the interviewee and his/her spouse: type of working day, not hours worked per week, responsible for other workers, not employees of the employer or professional.
- Occupation of the interviewee with codes CNO-94 (as usual) and ISCO-88/ISCO-88.
- Membership of a trade union organisation of the interviewee and the partner/spouse.
- Subjective social class of the interviewee (1-10).
- Political ideology scale of the interviewee. Importance of political ideology.
- Participation and remembrance of vote in general elections in March 2008.
- Number of people living in the household, sex, age and relationship with the interviewee.
