Description

- Evaluation of the current political situation in the Balearic Islands and two-year retrospective. - Assessment of the economic situation of the Balearic Islands, current and prospective to one year. - Major problems of the Balearic Islands. - Opinion on the evolution in the last two years of different problems. - Knowledge of the proposal of the Balearic Government to order and limit urban growth. Attitudes towards this measure. Assessment of the need for this measure. - Knowledge of the urban reform plan called 'Mirall'. Attitude towards the plan. - Assessment of the work being done by the current Balearic Government and the opposition. - Opinion on whether the current Balearic Government has demonstrated: ability to defend the interests of the Balearic Islands, honesty, ability to communicate with the man in the street, efficiency, capacity for dialogue and knowledge of the problems of the Balearic Islands. - Opinion on the evolution of the Balearic Islands in the event that the opposition was in charge of the Balearic Government. - Assessment and approval of the performance of the president of the Balearic Government, Jaume Matas. - Degree of trust in President Jaume Matas. - Opinion on the type of relationship between Autonomous and Central Administrations. - Approval of the policy followed by the current Balearic Government with respect to the Central Government. - Agreement with phrases referring to voting for the same party in general and regional elections. - Assessment of the fact that the Balearic Government and the Central Government belong to the same party. - Remembrance of vote in the last regional elections of May 1995 and in the general elections of 1996. - Degree of closeness to different political parties. - Political ideology scale of the interviewee. ONLY ON THE ISLAND OF MALLORCA: - Assessment of the real intention of the Consell Insular de Mallorca to regulate the future urban development of the island. ONLY ON THE ISLAND OF MENORCA: - Assessment of the need for the recovery and opening of the 'cami de cavalls' and to give access to all beaches.
