Collective Catalog of Museum Libraries (BIMUS)
Description
The creation of the Network of Museum Libraries (BIMUS) aims to improve and optimise the material and human resources of libraries as well as a change in work processes, fostering cooperation and developing common library policies and services. It offers the possibility to consult the catalogues of all the libraries of the Network through a single Collective Catalogue that facilitates the use and visibility of all the funds. BIMUS integrates 18 centres: the library of the National Theatre Museum and the 17 libraries belonging to the state-owned museums and the direct management of the Ministry of Culture.
