Regional Maps (historical)

Description

Raster files corresponding to all editions of each map of the regional series, from the scanning of the paper maps preserved in the IGN Cartoteca. The distribution unit is a zip file per autonomous community, which includes three file types: JPG without georeference with 250 dpi resolution; georeferenced ECW with 400 dpi resolution (in geographic coordinates longitude and latitude, without cartographic projection) and prj containing georeference data. The structure of the name of each file is as follows: Autonomy-Year-aa.jpg. The last three letters of the filename respond to the following code: c.- Grid; e.- Special edition; r.- Reprint; s.- Shading; g.- Map of war; N.- There is no attribute. For example: CNS corresponds to a map that has grid, is not special edition and is shaded.
