Network of Environmental Education Centers of the Community of Madrid
Description
Location of the eight centers belonging to the Network of Environmental Education Centers (CEA) of the Ministry of Environment and Land Management of the Community of Madrid. These centers develop programs and activities of information, awareness and environmental education in order to achieve models of sustainable development, with particular attention to those actions aimed at promoting the socio-economic boost of local populations in rural and natural areas. They support the management of the environment and the plans and other actions of the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, especially in protected natural areas. They also collaborate with the municipalities, institutions and associations of the area in which they are located in the recovery and valuation of natural and cultural resources, among others.
