Controlled Fisheries Areas in the Community of Madrid.

Description

The layer shows the sections of CONTROLED FISHING. Areas of controlled fishing are those bodies of water in which it is considered appropriate to control the pressure of fish harvesting, for the purpose of monitoring stocks or controlling invasive species. In order to fish in these sections, a personal fishing permit for that date is essential, obtained in accordance with the rules established for these scenarios. In all sections of controlled fishing, the return of catches of native species shall be mandatory. Extractive catches may exceptionally be authorised for reasons of population management, research or health reasons. The fisherman is obliged to deliver the catch results to the entity that issued the permit. The sections listed in Annex III to Order 199/2023 of 9 February are considered to be limited sections for the 2023 season. Scale 1:10.000.
