Description
Cartographic adaptation of the Catalogue of Dams and Wetlands of the Community of Madrid, approved by the Government of the Community of Madrid on September 2, 2004, this catalog was established in the Law on the Protection of Dams and Wetlands of 1990 and materialised by Agreement of the Governing Council of 10 October 1991. This adaptation was approved by Decree 26/2020, of 8 April, of the Governing Council, approving the Action Plan on Cataloged Wetlands of the Community of Madrid. Digitisation scale 1:5,000 or lower. Except in the case of RAMSAR delimitation of the Wetlands of Massif de Peñalara, which is at 1:50.000, so in this case a visualisation scale between 1:50.000 and 1:25.000 is recommended. The use of scales in greater detail could lead to confusion in the limits set.
