This dataset provides a comprehensive collection of information on tourist points of interest (POIs) in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region.
Merged POI dataset
POI data integration: The dataset includes POIs based on data from OpenStreetMap and Overture.
POI categories:
Includes data on different categories of POIs
Georeferenced data:
All POIs are georeferenced, allowing for spatial analysis and mapping.
Data format
The file is offered in the open, non-proprietary GeoPackage (.gpkg) format.
Instructions for use:
We invite all interested parties to use this data set to gain a deeper understanding of the tourist landscape of the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region and to contribute to the promotion of attractive and accessible tourism.
