These data provide information on the breakdown of total income and total expenditure of unemployment insurance since 2011.

**Definitions**
**Revenues (MEUR)
**
**Contributions**: Unemployment insurance contributions based on gross wages.
**Generalised Social Contribution (CSG)**: CSG’s share of business income received as compensation for the former wage share.
**Other recipes**: Other revenue received, including CSP contribution (professional security contract).
**Expenditure** **(EUR million)**
**Gross allocations and aid**: Allowances paid (ARE, AREF, ASP, AREP, ATI and other allowances) and aid paid (ARCE and other aid).
**Retirement fund**: Net financing of supplementary pension points for paid jobseekers: the Unédic finances part of the pension points obtained by the recipients during their compensation periods.
**Partial activity**: Partial activity expenses of the Unédic.
Funding Employment and collection costs: Expenditure of the Unédic to ensure the financing of Pôle Emploi (up to 11 % of revenue in n-2 since 2019) and the expenses associated with the collection of contributions.
**Other expenditure**: Management fees and financial charges.
**Technical balance**: Difference between total revenue and total expenditure.
**Exceptional items**: Income and expenses resulting from non-recurring events.
**Financial balance**: Balance after integration of exceptional elements.
**Debt**: Total outstanding debt minus available cash.
