Remarkable gardens – Tours Métropole Val de Loire
Description
Established in 2004, the “Remarkable Garden” label distinguishes gardens and parks of cultural, aesthetic, historical or botanical interest, whether public or private.
This quality label is awarded by the [Ministry of Culture](https://www.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/liste-des-jardins-remarquables/) for a renewable period of 5 years. It gives rise to various advantages, including signage on roads and highways, according to the same process as buildings protected as historic monuments.
