Description

** attention this data is continuously updated

**

_(Approximately 73 % of the data were validated by Tours Métropole Val de Loire)
_

The Local Address Base (BAL) is a structured file, standardised according to the recommendations of the AITF, in order to promote exchanges between local authorities with the BASE ADRESSE NATIONALE (BAN).

This data model is intended to:

  • standardise the computer files of addresses distributed by local and regional authorities

  • to supply more efficiently the National Address Base but also the portal data.gouv.fr

  • promote the aggregation of these data at different scales

  • promote reuse by as many people as possible

As the file is not completely up-to-date, it evolves regularly.

Bal version 1.3 (November 2021)
