Representation expenses of the Mayor
Description
The purpose of representation expenses is to cover expenses incurred by the Mayor in the performance of his duties and in the interests of the affairs of the municipality. They are provided for in Article L2123-19 of the CGCT, which provides that ‘the municipal council may vote, from ordinary resources, allowances to the mayor for representation expenses’.
