Limits on fishing practices

Ministère de l’Agriculture et de l’Alimentation / DPMA - Shom The product ‘Limits relative aux usages de pêche’ (Limits relating to fishing uses) contains maritime limits linked to fishing uses and resulting from French and European regulations. These limits are managed by the Directorate of Maritime Fisheries and Aquaculture (DPMA) of the Ministry of
Agriculture and Food. These limits are divided into three categories: - the inner limit of the coastal fishing strip (6 nautical miles); - the limit of 3 nautical miles; - the Overseas fishing limit (100 nautical miles). The product "Limits relating to fishing uses" is to be used in addition to the digital product "Maritime delimitations" of Shom which represents the limits of the maritime areas of sovereignty or jurisdiction of the
France in the world. The product "Maritime Delimitations"
can be viewed on data.shom.fr (Maritime limits category) and downloaded from the National Maritime Boundaries Portal (https://limitesmaritimes.gouv.fr).
