Description
Location of urban agriculture sites on the Territory of Grand Paris Seine Ouest
Created in February 2018 in order to respond to a contract of objectives signed with the ADEME (National Agency for the Environment and the Maitrise of Energy), GPSO’s urban agriculture mission encourages:
* the establishment of shared garden projects in partnership with cities and social donors
* The development of a beekeeping network and the establishment of agreements for the provision of green spaces for the establishment of apiaries
* networking of vines in order to pool experiences and knowledge (production of grapes, vinification, harvest...)
* eco-pastoralism (bones, sheep and goats)
* Setting up orchards and fruit hedges
In a context of global warming, urban agriculture is a lever for adapting the territory to climate change.
