Fine vegetation 2021 on Rennes Métropole
Description
This layer represents the situation of the vegetation right of way in 2021 on the territory of Rennes Métropole. It distinguishes the herbaceous stratum from the wooded stratum (above 1 metre). The minimum units are 5 m² for the wooded frame and 1 m² for the herbaceous frame. The polygons of the wooded stratum and the herbaceous stratum do not overlap.
Below is a description of the nomenclature:
Hedges: Linear tree elements with a maximum canopy width of 20 m and an area >= 5 m²
Isolated trees: Non-linear wooded elements with an area of between 5 m² and 300 m²
Wood: Non-linear tree elements of an area > 500 m²
Groves: Non-linear wooded elements with an area of between 300 m² and 500 m²
Herbaceous surfaces: Herbaceous elements of the urban matrix of an area >= 1 m².
This layer is particularly large and can, depending on the tools, show some slowness when it is displayed.
