Projected dark grid of Rennes Métropole
Description
The "Dark Trail Projected" graphically identifies the nocturnal atmosphere targeted in the long term on the Metropolis. This objective will be achieved by the implementation of the master plan present in the SCAL (Schéma de Coherence d'Aménagement Lumière) and defining different levels of issues related to public lighting. The zonings of the dark grid make it possible to define the rules of lighting construction (level of illumination in lux, color temperature in Kelvin) while limiting the nuisances on biodiversity and preserving / restoring the quality of the night. The Dark Trame includes different levels of attention such as the "Black Trame" (ecological continuity of the TVB), the "Black Trame of increased vigilance" (biodiversity reservoirs identified in the SRADDET (Regional Planning, Sustainable Development and Territorial Equality Scheme) and the "buffer zones" (mostly agro-natural areas).
